Fiona and David are one of those rare couples who book me to shoot their wedding without actually meeting me. Now, I think that one of the most important things about choosing your wedding photographer is to make sure you 'gel' with them……. Read More...
Anne and Simon celebrated their wedding back in April at Close House. They’ve recently chosen the shots for their album and going through their pictures reminded me what a fabulous day we had.
Now, as my friends know, I often get mistaken for either Alan Davies (aka Jonathan Creek) or Fabricio Coloccini (check my photo on our 'About' page). However, as you can see one of Simon's groomsmen gave me a rather good run for my money!
This was one VERY relaxed wedding, and we were blessed with some beautiful spring weather. The light was gorgeous and the timings on the day allowed plenty of time for Anne and Simon and their guests to enjoy the fantastic setting of Close House, whilst still leaving time for me to shoot some gorgeous portraits of the two of them together.
Thanks guys for entrusting me with your wedding photography. I had a great time and, as you can see from the photos, Anne and Simon and their guests had a brilliant day too!
Back in the Spring, Sadie and Mark got married at Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle. After their ceremony, we went for a walk in Jesmond Dene to shoot some relaxed wedding portraits. Their evening reception was at The Biscuit Factory so, before their guests arrived, we took advantage of the amazing building for some more special photos of them together. Sadie and Mark are a great couple and it was a real pleasure to photograph their wedding!
Ruth and Mark were married on a beautiful day in September. Ruth’s walk to church with her dad and bridesmaids was the start of an amazingly romantic day. Kirkley Hall’s lovely grounds were the perfect place for everyone to start the celebrations and enjoy the weather. Some of their wedding photographs have a great vintage look which is becoming so popular.
Alli and Nayfe got married at gorgeous Langley Castle in September. Their brilliant wedding day was filled with smiles and laughter from make-up to first dance and beyond! It was so difficult to pick just a few photos to tell the story of their wonderful day.
I'd really been looking forward to Lynsey and Mike's "Big Day”, which was just before Christmas. They're a great couple, who share a wicked sense of humour, as you’ll see from their photographs. Their evening celebrations started off with one of the best first dances I've seen in a long time. Langley Castle Hotel always looks extra-special for December weddings and it was the perfect venue on a cold winter day. Thanks for a great day guys - you were fab to work with!
Back in October, I had an absolute blast shooting Lucie & Mike's wedding at Lindisfarne Castle. The weather was stunning so we went outside the castle and on the beach. Lucie & Mike were absolute stars to work with, really up for a great laugh and spending time to get some stunning shots. Thanks guys!!
